OmniRPG – Terms of service
By installing or using OmniRPG you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What OmniRPG is
A tabletop companion for roleplaying games: it handles characters, initiative, hit points, conditions, timed effects, dice rolls and session notes. It runs entirely on your device.
2. Licence to use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use OmniRPG on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.
3. What you may not do
Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the app, save to the extent the law does not allow this to be prohibited.
Remove or alter copyright and ownership notices.
Resell, rent out or redistribute the app or parts of it as a standalone product.
You are free to use the app as much as you like, at your tables, with whomever you like.
4. Your content
Characters, notes, encounters and photographs you create in the app are yours and stay on your device. We claim no rights over them and have no access to them.
You are responsible for what you write and for the images you add, including respecting other people’s rights.
5. Backups
The app lets you export your data to a file. Doing so regularly is your responsibility. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data, a fault or the loss of your device will lose whatever you have not exported, and there is no way for us to recover it.
6. Intellectual property and attributions
OmniRPG, its code, its artwork and its name belong to the owner.
The app includes content derived from the System Reference Document 5.2.1 (“SRD 5.2.1”) by Wizards of the Coast LLC, available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). © Wizards of the Coast LLC.
OmniRPG is not an official Wizards of the Coast product and is neither endorsed by nor affiliated with it. Rules and mechanics not covered by the SRD are original OmniRPG implementations.
The IBM Plex Sans and Vollkorn typefaces are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and freedom from error. We do not warrant that the app is free of defects or that it will run without interruption.
Nothing in this clause limits the rights the law gives consumers and that cannot be excluded by contract.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use the app.
Liability that the law does not permit to be excluded remains unaffected, including liability for wilful misconduct and gross negligence and liability under consumer protection law.
9. Updates and termination
The app may receive updates that change, add or remove features. You may stop using OmniRPG at any time by uninstalling it. This licence terminates automatically if you breach these terms.
10. Privacy
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: the app collects and transmits no data.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the courts of the place of residence or domicile remain competent, where that place is in Italy.
